Dude where’s my car: intro
The first 0:17 seconds of the intro consist or the
production companies logo, music then begins to play as a it fades to black and
says “the following story is based on actual events” in a stereotypical 90’s
voice over voice, this could intrigue the audience in wanting to know what
these “true” events are, after that a
POV of something, potentially a human is going through space and see people,
animals etc, this acts as the opening credits for the film, there is
non-diagetic music here, in the form of some funky-pop genre, which could set a
tone for a fun-filled bubbly film.
As soon as the credit soon finish’s a fade transition occurs
and cuts into a close up of one of the main characters waking up in bed, with
scruffy hair and stuff on his face, this
implies that he has had a fun or rough night out, which could cause curiosity amongst the
audience.
The camera then pans around his room and there’s a POV of
the cameraman walking out the room, into another room which goes into a close
up of a TV with a monkey on it, and then pans to a character doing this same as
the monkey on the TV, this could imply the low, uneducated IQ of the character
and how he has the same intelligence of a monkey. After 2 minutes the two
characters come into the scene together and the dialogue and film start.
