We, Super Dench Productions are going to be creating and shooting a comedy film, we are going to be aiming our film at young adults (16-25), we are going through extensive research into the location of our film, this also applies for the scene in which we are holding our auditions.
The concept for our piece is about two friends living together, they both have a low IQ and this is told in a narration we will do, and together they act stupidly and get up to many different shenanigans, making fun out of the situations they are in a over-exaggerated form.
this is just a simple blog, about a simple subject. Media, i will most likly only ever be talking bout the subject of Media studies, nothing more and nothing less.

Dude where's my car intro
Dude where’s my car: intro
The first 0:17 seconds of the intro consist or the
production companies logo, music then begins to play as a it fades to black and
says “the following story is based on actual events” in a stereotypical 90’s
voice over voice, this could intrigue the audience in wanting to know what
these “true” events are, after that a
POV of something, potentially a human is going through space and see people,
animals etc, this acts as the opening credits for the film, there is
non-diagetic music here, in the form of some funky-pop genre, which could set a
tone for a fun-filled bubbly film.
As soon as the credit soon finish’s a fade transition occurs
and cuts into a close up of one of the main characters waking up in bed, with
scruffy hair and stuff on his face, this
implies that he has had a fun or rough night out, which could cause curiosity amongst the
audience.
The camera then pans around his room and there’s a POV of
the cameraman walking out the room, into another room which goes into a close
up of a TV with a monkey on it, and then pans to a character doing this same as
the monkey on the TV, this could imply the low, uneducated IQ of the character
and how he has the same intelligence of a monkey. After 2 minutes the two
characters come into the scene together and the dialogue and film start.

Jack and Jill film intro
We did a few film intros and looked over them, we did comedies considering as that is our genre. our first one was jack and jill.
Jack and Jill intro.
After the company and producers intros with the
corresponding music, the screen fades out, then fades back in to a mid shot of
a pair of female attractive twins breaking the fourth wall and talking directly
into the camera as if they’re being interviewed and asked questions, after some
bickering, the screen transitions into a pair of your average Hollywood style
looking twins, then a pair of overweight, this all shows the audience a
diversity in twins, after a few more twins are interviewed there’s an “old video” grainy effect, of two
children who are twins, this implies to the audience that the footage of the
children is rather old, throughout this scene some non-diagetic music plays.
The footage continues in this “old” grainy effect, showing
the children growing up, this shows the audience that the children have aged
and are now adults, finally it fades to black and the movie begins.

Preliminary task
this is our preliminary task, we had completed all of the tasks that were at hand, and also edited the video efficiently, we had a few problems in editing, but we managed to cut and snip at teh clip creating a good piece overall.
our video's audience
We viewed the task at hand, and from that decided to do some research on our target audience, we did class, age and gender research for our audience.
The outcome was that we was to have a mixed-gender of audience, as to keep it universal and entertaining for both genders, for age,we decided to have a fairly young audience around 16-20, to aim it at today's youth, finally we did some class research, finding out that our best class is to aim our piece at a working class, as it is a popular class of today, and easy to aim at.
